  • University City Science Center's OnRamp Program

    Served as the first Founder-In-Residence for the inaugural cohort for the University City Science Center’s OnRamp initiative, funded for $750,000 by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) Scaling Pandemic Resilience Through Innovation and Technology (SPRINT) Challenge grant, to plan, program and provide weekly services that engaged, educated and empowered small business participants, on a Cohort basis, to receive curated services, support, and opportunity for funding.

    D A T A A N A L Y T I C S

    Retained as part of a team that successfully created, conducted, and deployed an online survey for the National Association of Black Accountants’ 13,000+ membership to collect data for analysis to better understand the career planning and advancement needs for both its current and former members. The project was part of NABA’s effort to develop and launch a career matchmaking platform for its members with its corporate Fortune 500 partners.

    Retained as Business Advisor for the expansion, restructuring, and growth strategy for DETV™ a full-service provider of digital, live, or taped broadcast, production and media services for the metro Wilmington marketplace. DETV™ airs on Channel 28, local Cable TV, and DETVch.com for the tri-state region with daily, weekend, and broadcast content live-streamed to most digital destinations, including Network TV, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Vimeo, Instagram, etc.

    B U S I N E S S A D V I S O R Y

    As a founding member of the Black Squirrel Collective, we launched in partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce the “Philly Build-Up” program in support of Philadelphia’s corridor-based businesses to stabilize, inject resources, and grows their revenues. Black Squirrel will support a pilot project of 100 businesses through its proprietary tool, business risk, and recovery assessment, to determine an entity’s ability to expand or obtain capital.

    Provided Advisory Services to Backstage Capital in support of its launch of a Philadelphia Accelerator as part of its global roll-out including LA, Detroit, and London for underrepresented tech founders investing up to $100,000.00 in each venture while delivering one year of hands-on training, coaching, and mentoring that prepared them to achieve their next critical milestone for business success.

    Currently, serves as a Program and Investment Advisor to Philadelphia’s University Science Center for the creation, development, and deployment of its Technology Accelerator for funding underrepresented Startups, Launch Lane, in the Life Sciences. This program provides participants with an enriching experience that not only invests up to $50,000.00 in each venture but educates entrepreneurs on how to be successful and build sustainable and scalable tech companies.
